Family Photographer in Mt. Lebanon, PA
Warm, unposed family photography in Mt. Lebanon — real moments, beautiful light, and a session that feels like a family outing instead of a photo shoot.
Mt. Lebanon is one of those rare places where you can shoot a wooded-trail session and a Main-Street session within five minutes of each other. Bird Park’s creek valley feels like deep forest; Uptown’s brick storefronts feel like a small city — and both are surrounded by the sidewalk-and-porch neighborhoods that make Lebo, Lebo.
Our style fits the community: relaxed, documentary-leaning, warm. We photograph your family doing things — walking to get ice cream on Washington Road, throwing leaves in Bird Park, piling onto a porch swing — and shape gentle direction around what’s already happening. No stiff rows, no forced smiles.
We photograph Lebo families in every season, but fall deserves special mention: the tree streets of Virginia Manor and the woods of Bird Park in mid-October are as good as family-photo backdrops get in Pittsburgh. Those weekends book early — reach out ahead if autumn is your plan.

Mt. Lebanon Session FAQs
Where do families in Mt. Lebanon usually take photos?
Bird Park is the local favorite — its woods feel miles from the city even though it's surrounded by neighborhoods. Uptown is the sleeper pick: the brick storefronts along Washington Road photograph beautifully, especially at dusk when the shop lights come on.
Are you close by, or will we pay extra for travel?
We're based in South Park, about 15–20 minutes away — Mt. Lebanon sessions never carry a travel fee.
Our kids are wild. Is that a problem?
It's the point. Wild kids make the best photos — we build sessions around movement and play rather than asking anyone to hold still. The keepers are almost always the in-between moments.
What should our family wear?
Soft, coordinated colors (not matching outfits) photograph best — creams, rusts, sages, denim. After booking you'll get a short what-to-wear guide, and you're always welcome to send us outfit photos for a second opinion.
